Dr. Muneer Ahmad

Dr. Muneer Ahmad is Professor of Sociology and Director Centre for Policy Studies at the Lahore School of Economics. He has an M.A. from the University of Punjab and Ph.D. from Muenster University. He was the Senior Research Fellow at Columbia University, New York. He worked as Director, Centre for South Asian Studies and Chairman, Department of Administrative Science, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He also worked as Director, Welfare, OPF.

Dr. Muneer’s Major Publications include: ‘The Civil Servant in Pakistan’, Karachi, Oxford University Press, 1964, ‘Legislatures in Pakistan’, Lahore, Punjab University, 1959, ‘Aspects of Pakistan’s Politics and Administration’, Punjab University, 1974 and ‘A review of the Recruitment Policy for Power Distribution Wing of WAPDA’, 1988.
